Do not pull them apart dry — you will tear the emulsion. Place the stuck photos in a sealed plastic container with a damp (not wet) sponge near them, but not touching. Close the container and leave for 12–24 hours. The humidity will soften the bond and allow gentle separation from one corner. Work over water if they start to re-stick. Scan immediately after separation before they dry and potentially re-bond.
There is visible mold on my water-damaged photos. Can they still be restored?
